Question about 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse
I have a 2000 mitsubishi eclipse with the infinity sound system. the car leaks water from somewhere and the amp fried. i was going to replace the amp with an aftermarket amp, but i do not know how to get a input signal into the aftermarket amp since the factory amp is being removed. normally we would splice the speaker wire and use a hi-low converter but in this case we cannot. we were wondering if there was a way to get the input from the stock DIN wire. any solutions? preferably other than buying a DIN to RCA adapter
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

your radio/dash opening DIN size is what they call double DIN, to get the right unit fopr this u will need to know if you have a Facory Infinity premium sound system, it makes a diff in the model f the in dash units, here is a link to a site that has a selection of in dash DVD players for your double DIN dash.

unfortunately the backlighting on these radios is not serviceable, you can attempt to have someone repair the radio, but better off getting a new factory one, wrecking yard one, or going with an aftermarket unit
