Changing the 3rd tail light bulb on a 1993 mustang convertible

do I take out the screws and remove the lens and light housing from there? doesn't seem to come out easily. am I missing something?

The light has two philip screws. They should come out fairly easy. If not, you may need to put a little pressure by prying it out with a small screwdriver while unscrewing the two philips screws. If you have to do this be careful as you can chip the paint or worse; crack the spoiler. Good luck.
