Why do you want to know as all kinds of things are run by this device and it costs plenty. If it keeps chimbing and you want to stop it all kinds of things don't work with it unplugged ( interior light's cruise control, air conditioner and heat,Radio,Automatic headlights. Daytime running lights) If its saying the doors open, it is! Just because it looks closed doesn't mean that they are the most likly is the driver door and the switch is in the door latch that holds the door closed. The switches rust break fall off or get disconnected. worset problem is the wire from the switch breaks in the door hinge area and the wire will need to be found and replaced or repaired. The modules seldom fail unless submererised in water or the battery hooked up backwards or jumped off wrong battery cable removed while the engine in running but alot of this other stuff will work wrong too.
