The only thing I could advise with this limited info is to go by a autoglass shop and see if they can help.

Drivers side window will not go up, I think it's the motor. 202 mitsubishi galant 4 door

If u switch the WiNDOW and u hear some buzzing inside the door, means the motor is still working! Mostly the part easily get broken is the WiNDOW REGULATOR assembly! You could buy and replace the regulator only w/o the motor! Before putting a new regulator add some GREASE on the cable link and the plastic guide!

I think you have defective window regulators. I would start with the back window first. Remove the door panel by prkying up the cover which holds the switch. Remove the door panel. You will see a white plastic which is a water bearier peel this down and reglue after you check the regulator. You will see aluminum brackets holding in the egulator and 3 star screws holding in the window motor. Remove the three screws hlding in the motor and remove. There will be one screw hlding the plate on the motor, remove this and check the plugs which operate the motor. These are plastic. I would replace these with ball bearings, cheaper. The plastic plugs cost $8.51 the bearings $.64 cents a piece. Pack the motor with wheel grease. Now you will see aluminum plugsa holding in the window regulator. Using a punch punch out the rivits, then usaing a 1/4 drill bit drill out the aluminum. Remove the regulator and inspect if defective replace. Purchase the regulators on line, $18.00 a piece vs $90 at a shop. REplace the aluminum with 1/4 bolts and self locking nuts. Do one window at a time.

Drivers side front window

That is the window regulator. I have a 2000 G/A GT and both my front windows are broken due to GM using made-to-break parts. Dealership wants $400 each, and you can't just replace that little plastic piece, you have to replace all the guide wires too, I just propped my windows up with a board, they will fall constantly until you do. I tried wedging them, but that didn't work well. You can look for the entire regulator assembly online, but the $5 board worked great for me.

96 dodge grand caravan drivers side power window---i have broken the nylon slides that attach to the window itself= do i have to replace the whole window monitor or can i buy the two nylon plastic slides...

It sounds like the Regulator is broken and needs to be replaced. Below is a picture of how the glass attaches to the regulator. Note the gold colored clip in the back that holds the glass to the regulator. IF the plastic piece that broke is the WHITE piece in the picture (yours may be black) then it is part of the regulator.
(the black piece in the picture is part of the glass)

I have a 91 Caprice with the same problem. I live in Atlanta, GA. and I could not find any autoparts store selling these pieces. I eventually found them at
The part number is : A20424 GM Front Window Guides 1 13/16 total length. They come in a box of 5 pieces. Cost $4.92 for 5 pieces. I had to replace one on all of my windows. The piece is the same piece used on the back windows too. They are a trick to get in. You have do a little bending of the aluminum thing they slide into. In the end a big C-clamp works slick to get the regulator arm piece to pop into the nylon piece. Patience is needed.

1999 alero window tracking broke, need to know how to fix it

those little plastic pieces are the weak link of the assembly. You can't just replace them in this throw away society. I bought an aftermarket window regulator on E-bay for around $40.00 and it works fine 3 years later. Do a search for Alero window regulators . It is not a hard job to install either. Good luck
