Question about 1999 Pontiac Bonneville
I need to replace the passenger side out side mirror. any suggestions on how to remove the door panel i have a similar problem with my 1999 bonneville, i am trying to replace my passenger side mirror, but cannot seem to loosen the back bolt holding the broken mirror on. the window is preventing me from getting the angle i need, and i cannot find enough room to get an open ended wrench to loosen it. any suggestions?
You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door
