If its injection you need to test light injector leads and see if you are getting fire there. There also should be fuses for the injectors too, there is a fuse box under hood wear them fuses are located.

My car loses power sometimes and I can have the pedal on the floor. What causes this? I have new spark plugs and wires, fresh air filter good engine oil life. (1999 pontiac grand prix 3.1 v6)

Could be many things but,i would put my money on a weak fuel pump.Check your fuel pressure it should be 41-47 psi with key on engine off.If its not within these specs replace pump and filter.

What makes a car stop while driving but starts

Fuel pressure loss is the usual cause. Check your fuel pressure. This can be caused by a plugged fuel filter or a faulty fuel pump. The next thing to check is your fuel pressure regulator

If you unplug the MAF sensor it should run using the default mapping. I'm having the same problem, but I want to figure out why it won't run with the sensor connected.
