Question about 2004 Ford Freestar
The handle on the rear liftgate came off in my hand the other day. The dealer wants to charge me $251 + labor to fix it and that does not include matching the paint! Yikes! I am not sure if the handle is actually broken or just needs to be reattached. Any advice? Thanks!
Open the lift gate remove the inner panel and put on gloves because sometimes it is real sharp behind these panels take off the negative side of the battery before you start to work and once you get in there you will be able to see the problem and on the Ford vans I have had it was just a clip and just had to put it back in place
