There is an under the hood fuse block where most fuses are located. There should be a diagram on the underside of the lid that explains what fuse is what. It also might be located on the drivers side of the dash in the door jam. German's like to use little pictures so look for something that resembles A/C and check if any of the fuses are blown.

I HAVE A 2001 VW JETTA. LAST JULY I CHANGE MY BATTRY AN NOW MY RADIO,A/C, AN HEATER DONT WORK.LOOK AT MANUAL TO CHANGE FUSES.ALL I GET IS(TAKE TO V/W DELER) SHOUD NOT HAVE TO GO DELER TO A FUSE.HELP

It sounds like a relay to me. In your manual, does it give the location for the relay to the ac/heater? to check your fuses, get a multi meter, and use the OHMs setting. test the backs of the fuses, on lead of the meter to one side of the fuse, and the other lead to the other side of the fuse. it should give you a zero reading on a good fuse, if not replace that fuse. If the manual does not give you the relay set up, open the relay box, and the cover should tell you which one is which. if not, let me know, and I will get them for you

1995 vw jetta gl air conditioner fuse 2.0 l

You may not be full of refrigerant... There is a low pressure switch that prevents the AC from actuating the clutch, and the reason is: IF there is not enough refrigerant, you will not be able to move oil through the system and you will have major damage...so no engauge...

Get the system checked, most likely there is a leak somewhere..
