my 1993 sub 2500 does the same noise from the ac area but only for about 30sec on start up and shutdown i was told it is a plastic gear that closes the vent door for outside air

my 93 Chey pickup clicks for 30 seconds when I turn the key to the ON position. It does it again when I switch from on to off for another 30 sec. It comes from somewhere around the ac fan under and behind the glove box. It does not do it when I turn the key to AUX.

Probably the vent door actuator......
Vent doors are controlled by small elect. Motors.

Check tranny fluid on manual1992 chevy cheyenne

There is a plug on the side of the transmission with a square hole in it (3/8 inch) passenger side usually. Remove it, if fluid doesn't come out of it, ad some until it does. It is full then. Auto parts stores will tell you the grade you need. If it's been a really long time. On the bottom there is a same plug. Drain it and fill.

Where is knock sensor on a 1993 chevy cheyenne 1500

I have worked on the marine version of these engines many times, and find the knock sensor is normally located on coolant drain petcock. This is done because the "knock" sound moves efficiently through the coolant in the engine block. It is normally on the passenger side side of the engine, under the exhaust manifold. This may vary depending on engine model.

Clicking sound on passanger side of GMC Envoy

The fan assembly moved out of position during impact. Loosen the assembly, and remove for inspection. Sometimes leaves or debris come out of a vent during impact, and lie against the rotating squirrel cage assembly---thus the annoying noise.

Clicking noise coming from under passenger side dash, changes sound as I move my a/c from low to high

You have a blend door motor that bad. The clicking noise is probably the motor turing and grinding the gears...Prob should take too a shop for a diag to be sure...Some of them things are pretty hard to get to
