Truck starts and runs (Idels) fine when going from 1st to 2nd sputters like a miss? holds 55 but at a low r.p.m. wants to mis s I guess it does at a higher r.p.m. just not as noticable?? its carberator? could it be water? filter? dirty carb? seems to be worse when warm? Rory

You will need tocheck choke/choke pull off also the egr could be malfunctioning

there is a problem then because that is not suspose to happen call a tow truck and call your company

at night go outside crank it up and let it run or when go some where when the truck is hot see if the converter is red the it is stopped up make sure it is dark place when u check it

At high RPM engine sputters like it's flooding.


check your fuel pump and filter,filter may be dirty ,fuel pump may not be pushing anough presser,or your pressure ragulator my be leaking

Goes to 4000 rpms to 5500 rpms before changing from 1st to 2nd g


Ford : back the truck up 10ft put truck in neutral and disengage four wheel low. (You can't drive in four wheel low cause its a pulling gear and you won't do over 3-5 mph.)
Nissan: start truck see if it idles normal. If so rev motor and check throttle for sticking and check EGR valve make sure its not stuck open or malfunctioning when you drive it..

Won't come out of 4 low and won't change from 1st to 2nd gear


try checking your auto trani fluid... and with the 4 wheel drive try puting ti in nuteral and if the doesnt work try puting it in reverse and back up after taking it out of 4 wheel drive.

The idle air control solenoid could be bad. give the engine a vacuum leak and see if that helps any
