2 things--check if the air intake is completely attached if the air filter was recently changed. If this is loose, too much air is sucked in and you will have this problem.

second thing is whether you are having a mis-fire problem with fuel injectors. May need to get new fuel injectors or injector seats. If you do this, change all on one bank at a time as the injectors and kits (after market) can be relatively inexpensive, but labor for one is same as three essentially.

Have you changed your fuel filter? try that cause to me it sounds like a fuel issue. look at it this way, it wouldn't hurt to change it plus its a cheep fix!

95 Mazda Millenia runs very rough after overheating

Hi,
The compression test was a good test, but since you asked for ideas, I'd also check the following basic "naked eye" visuals:
1. Do you notice any white-ish smoke out the exhaust, especially after killing it then cranking back up?
2. With engine cold, take the radiator cap off and crank it. Does it act more violent than expected, like a geyser?
3. Loosen the oil pan drain screw to see if any water finds its way out from the bottom of the oil pan.
If so, to these tests... blown head gasket.
I hope NOT though... Good luck!
