Question about 2008 Toyota Sienna
I just bought a 2008 Sienna with 215/65/R16 tires.
It is too late to buy winter tires for this season. Would a 215/70/R15 tire be acceptable as alternative? Would a 15" RIM fit on the car?
No. You do NOT want to put 15" rims on this car. That will change a lot of things, and they all will be bad. The 15" rims will create problems with the ABS, and the ABS will not work properly.
Secondly, the speedometer will be way off, as the speedo is calibrated for the 16s. Third, and probably most important, your handling will be severly compromised. Please don't do the 15s.
Its not worth the problems that you will encounter.
a FixYa rating (4 blue diamonds) would be appreciated for my input.
