I have a 2010 vehicle with about 34,000 miles on it and it's under warranty, had problems with shifter, took back to dealer, they gave me a new user car for 2 days and fixed mine,no charge.
check the fluid for the color and smell.if the color is dark or the smell is burnt, your tranny have internal problems, also early hyundais had a lot of problems with the transmisions, internal failure as well as the valve bodies goin bad,if the service was done and you still have the problem its likely that your transmision needs a better diagnostic,if you are under warranty then there should be no problem.
the new hyundais shift into second gear when coming to a stop and stay ther until u hit the throttle agian to accel and then they downshift into first for take off, thats how they get such a smooth idle when stopped, try takin it to the dealer ,they will most likely tell u the same thing, hopr this helps
