To recondition try to replace spark plug, high tension wire, fuel filter, air cleaner, distributor cup, and change oil, try to tune up by using filler gauge, if your distributor is not using igniter try to replace condenser , overhaul the carburator

99forester2lt turbo auto that was over heating blown the headgasket so recondition the engine&now it won't move in reverse but drives in D321 would this have anything to do with the recon ? Any ideas

Well it may if the oil was not replenished in the transaxle after engine recondition if it was out of chassis recondition. Other wise it may now just be too weak to handle stronger engine. Also it may need a linkage adjustment.

My 1995 Toyota Celica's oil is disappearing? What do i do and what is wrong with my car?

Is there bluish smoke coming out of the exhaust ? That would indicate that the car is burning oil. Is there oil on the ground where the car is parked? That would indicate an oil leak. If the car is burning oil, there is no easy fix for it. If there is an oil leak, that may be fixed, but you would have to have the car looked at by a garage .

How do I remove the crankshaft on a 2006 trx 500

Hi Seneca, Do you really want to remove the crankshaft? We usually do that to recondition an engine (replacing pistons, rings, main bearings, connecting rod bearings oil pump, water pump and reconditioning of the cylinder head? It is major engineering work.)
What is it you want to do and why? John

Toyota MR2 spyder engine failure

when an engine overheats that bad , the cost to rebuild is generally close to a fully reconditioned exchange engine
check the wreckers / junk yards for a good engine of the same family group as is on the compliance plate /build plate on your car ( many such places import engines with low miles/klm that are in top condition
the rebuild will include new head or head rework , new pistons and rings , bearings , engine re-bore and all of that will not include the labour charges
burning a motor is not an inexpensive experience and that is why I suggest a second hand motor or a service exchange motor for an accredited engine reconditioning shop

When I start it up first thing in the morning it blows smoke untill engine is warm. Will I need to get new guide seal? 100 series 4.5ltr petrol

if it is blue smoke it is oil, what is happening is when the engine stands overnight the oil runs down through the valve seals & into the cylinders hence the smoke when you first start the engine you will most likely need to recondition the head ( new valve guides & seals plus a valve grind) it may be cheaper to fit a reconditioned head.....hope this helps.....cheers
