Re: man. transmision wont shift
It sounds like your slave cylinder as gone bad(throw out bearing) you'll have to have a shop remove the trans to fix this i would suggest that you get a new disc and pressure plate while you are paying to have this fixed sorry but this will be expensive as this is your clutch needing replaced

first, what is the condition and level of the tranny fluid ? compare with new one please. if not the same by far in clour or odor, get the transmission filter and oil changed. while the pan is off, look in it to see if there is metal in it. if so, your torque converter may need to be change. a little greyish residue at the bottom is normal but if the magnet is full and also the, you got a problem. you may need to rebuild it or replace it.
sometimes loss of power can be caused by a clogged catalytic converter which can make the car at times hesitate, and about the trasmission maybe the governor on it might be faulty what that does it changes the gears when it reaches certain speed
