Question about 1991 Jeep Wrangler
My name is doug im having trouble with 1991 jeep wrangler sahara it wont shift into gear doesnt grind just wont engage when i turn the vehicle off shifts into gears fine if i leave in gear and hold clutch in thn try to start vehicle it wants to start going is this a clutch related promblem or could it be tranny promblem both have been replaced less than 7500 miles ago unfortunatley the warranty is 12 moths or 12,0000 miles and the 12 months is up hoping this is fixable
Your clutch is not disengaging. If it a hydrolic clutch chk. the fluid in resavor, Or slave cyl. for the clutch is bad, Or it has got air in it and needs to be bleed. This is a clutch problem, nothing wrong with trans. If its a manual clutch linkage its an ajustment thing. My best guess if its hydrolic slave cyl. went bad, or resavor is out of fluid.
