There is no warning light for catalytic converter heating uo. Brake light usually is a exclamation mark inside a circle inside parentheses. What you are describing sounds more like a temperature warning light for the cooling system.
Easy one. You pressed (or someone pressed) the ECT button located near the shifter, in the console, or on the shifter itself. It changed the shift pattern of the transmission to a higher shift point for more performance (but uses more gas). Look for the switch and with the engine running push it until the light goes off.
From the looks of it the left and right hand sides of the dash board have fuse panels hidden under them.

You have multiple probs. Dash lights are powered off Headlamp switch, which sounds bad. Brake lights are operated off brake light switch which is just above your brake pedal under dash. Sounds like brake light and head light switch both need to be replaced.
