I had a similar problem all it was a the rubber boot after the sensor was sightly disconnected and produced the same code. I would even take it as far if there is a decent rip in the boot would also cause the problem.

and yes you can test it

Yes you can take a volt meter and check for power. with the key one but the car not running. This will tell you if you have any voltage, but the bad part is is that if you are getting power the part can still be bad cause it is a sending unit

How do i fix crank but no start?

Usually a new computer has to be programmed. Was the computer programmed?
Voltage to the load and control side of asd relay, is hot all the time. The computer grounds the control side of asd relay for it to energize.
The code is for idle air system, the computer controls that wiring circuit.

Location idle air control valve

Your vehicle does not have a IAC valve ! Your vehicle has electronic throttle control . P0351 probably a wiring issue or open driver inside the PCM for cylinder # one . Your best bet take it to the dealer , you have not the knowledge or tools to diagnose this problem ! You are obviously using some cheap code reader to pull codes with or you wouldn't come up with P0508 . Factory service info. does not show Po508 for that vehicle. Plus working for ford i know for a fact this vehicle does not have IAC . If the driver inside the PCM is bad it will need to go to dealer anyway for programming .

P0508 and p0443codes wont idle

Code 508 is for a problem with the idle air control valve, and code 443 is a problem with the EVAP purge control circuit.
The components and wiring would need to be checked.

Code p0508

Code 508 is for a problem with the idle air control valve circuit.
The valve and circuit would need to be tested. I doubt the code is causing the no start condition.

P0508 code on 2001 Honda CR-V how do I troubleshoot

P0508 = Idle Air Control System Circuit Low

Engine Light ON (or Service Engine Soon Warning Light) - Engine hard to start - Rough or erratic idle speed.

Dirty throttle body - Electric throttle control actuator misadjusted or damaged - Faulty Electric throttle control actuator - Intake air leak - Poor electrical connection to the Intake Air Control (IAC) valve.

If there are no intake leaks, clean throttle body, adjust engine idle and erase engine code. If the code comes back you may have to replaced the Electric Throttle Control Actuator (Motor) to repair the problem.

I hope this helps!

Engine stalls after it has been raining heavy. p0508 code then next day it runs fine

P0508 Idle Air Control Circuit Low.
This means that the Idle Air Control Circuit input is below acceptable limits.
You need to test the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve, the wiring between the IAC and the PCM and made sure the IAC passages in the throttle body are clean.

Your PCM unit may actually be faulty and letting moisture in
