Might be your shift sensors. trans shop will charge you $50.00 to run a test. if its simple you can do it your self. but if its major let them do it. your insurance should cover this.

Why does my 2002 Hyundai Santa Fe start up and idles fine then when placed in gear and you accelerate it barely goes ?

I had a similar problem with 2 different cars - neither a Santa Fe, but in the first one, the problem was a clogged fuel filter. In the second one (and this is more like your problem), it was one of the coils in the coil pack. Betcha that is it!

Hyundai santa fe 2001 clunked in reverse a few times then driving along then know gears at all just reved up and went no where its a auto

Ok I guess after re reading the problem you are saying the transmission now doesn't move the car, check the transmission fluid, if it is showing on the dipstick then you have a failed transmission, any transmission repair shop will do a preliminary inspections of the problem and confirm this, inmost cases at no cost.

I have a 2002 hyundai santa fe my clutch is not working.when i put in gaer it doesnt move but it revs up louder...,,how can fix this problem?my

For that, you will most likely need to go to a shop. Transmissions are tricky and if you don't know what you're doing, you will end up costing yourself more in the long run. I know that's not the answer you were looking for, but it is the honest one.

The heater on our 2002 hyundai santa fe won't turn on. It worked great yesturday. Went to turn on this morning and nothing happened

Check your fuses first should be in the passenger compartment.... can find the location of the fuse panel in the owner's manual. From there I would suspect the blower relay which is usually in a fuse box under the hood

I have just had similar problem was on my way to work and car just stopped like it ran out of fuel . my balance shaft belt broke which caused the timing belt to jump a tooth still waiting for a quote for repair its up to $2000 so far through hyandai. after looking at other web sites realised this is a common fault with 2002 santa fe. you may want to get the crank angle sensor checked as well as my car has done two so far. hope this helps and your car is not as serious as mine
