Question about 1996 Dodge Ram
I have checked or replaced the starter, starter relay, and ignition switch. Battery is good shows 13amps when checked. battery and starter connections are both good. when i turn the key to start all the cluster lights appear and you can hear the starter selonoid moving. The key did lock up on me and i had to force the key through to start the engine. next time i tried to start it. i got nothing. won't turn over at all. I can't think of what else it could be.
Check the adjustment on the switch rod try to start the engine by removing the rod and moving the ignition switch with a tool sounds like the rack in the column has slipped
