Question about 1996 GMC Jimmy
I seem to have a short in the power windows circuit. The 30amp circuit breaker gets very warm. When I test the circuit with an amp meter there is current when there is no switches being touched.
Can you help?
I suggest you start unplugging each component one at a time and retest for current, this could possibly be a switch or motor shorting out.... or carefully inspect the harness within the rubber tubing between the door and the chassy
hope this helps
