I have changed the battery, camshaft sensor and crankshaft position sensor but the car still won't fire and start. It tries to start but won't fire up. Ignition coil pack is good, plugs are good and so are ignition wires. Don't think it's the timing b/c it's not spinning twice as fast when you try to crank it. I'm thinking it is something w/the fuel delivery system. How can I check and what is recommended? Is there a way to check fuel pressure? The RPM meter does not move when you try to crank the car.

well if ur not getting spark and u changed all of the ignition components lets think about the computer in order for the ignition to work you have crankshaft position sensor that fires the fuel injectors and the spark change that and if still nothing then change the camshaft postion sensor that sensor tells the computer that the 1 piston has came all the way up and it tells the crankshaft sensor to do its thing
the best way to fix your problem would be having OBD (on board diagnostics )pluged to your car . am asuming u didnt disconnet your baterry before u started replacing the parts which ,made faul code or codes come on. Because those are very important sensors engine won't start until u reset the codes
Try clearing the code and also disconnect the battery for a couple min. I had a car that had this problem. It did the same thing when the cam sensor was changed. I disconnected the battery and made the ecu relearn.
Its worth a shot, my next thing would be to check the coils.
It is located behind the **** of the starter on the front of the engine starting in '03 the 2.4 lt was changes the repair manual failed to update this..you may sneak it out with small fingers with out pulling out the starter.
