Another time the cars engine reved to full throttle and almost hah an accident
Try cleaning the throttle body and Idle controll valve with
seafoam or gummout spray and if it still stalls replace the Idle
Controll (IAC) valve.
If the check engine light is on and this is a USA car, the
repair may be covered under a warranty extension this car has till
150,000. This video could be helpful...
Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and

I have a 2003 Acura TL Type S with the same problem. At idle the car varies between 1500 and 3500 rpm. It is very dangerous, especially in heavy traffic. I have taken this car to a dealer multiple times in the past and it was finally fixed by a mechanic (at my third try at an Acura dealership) by adjusting the throttle cable where it attaches to the engine. He actually grabbed the cable wiggled it around while the car was running in park and the rpms were moving up and down like somebody was pressing the gas. The mechanic said he was familiar with that problem with these cars and knew right away what it was. That was back in 2007, over the last week the problem has re-occured.
My boss noss system gains 500 rpm at idle when pressed but don't seem to gain any when full throttle
