Question about 1999 Ford Explorer
Door locks won't work at the door, only at trunk. remote won't work
Hi, Yikes! Sounds like a control module problem as the things in common don't work independently. For example the driver combo lock works which activates the electric lock, this checks the fuses and relays in that circuit which would mean the switch on that door uses the same circuitry. The keyfob also goes through the control module but then again so does the rear lock but the module is the only real thing in common. The wiring harnesses are not in common either. The only thing I can think to do is have the module diagnosed on the computer. Sorry, But I hope this helps!
