Question about 1983 Ford Fairmont
Hi my ford fairmont is over heating and i was told its the clutch fan. The only problem is i cant fine any information on how to dismantle it an replace it

First to remove the fan you will need a big spanner 1, 1/4 inch to be precise and a large hammer. with the fan belts still on and tight from the top, place the spanner on the nut just behind the fan with the spanner pointing straight up. then jar the spanner with the hammer towards the battery,(opposite direction to a normal bolt) once jared loose you should be able to turn the nut off. when refitting just do up firm with spanner
