The crank sensor is located down at the front of the crankshaft. It is held on by two screws. Unplug it, unscrew it and reinstall. Make sure the clearance is correct. May I ask why you have replaced the distributor and rotor? Hope this helps. Rate me higly please.

The crank sensor is inside the distributor and may also be called an HEI pickup.
Disconnect wiring harness and remove the two tork head screws and lift out. Now would be a good time to replace the rotor & distributor cap if you haven't done so lately.
I hope this helps.

1993 cherokee sport afte warms up developes a miss trouble code says injector circut ive replaced computer injectors cps tps pretty much all of the sensors and did wires and plugs and rotor and cap please...

Which type of crank-sensor do you have, the type that has to be adjusted or the type that just mounts. If this sensor was installed correctly, then your most likely going tp be replacing the hall effect in the distributor and also verify that oil is not leaking on the distributor, causing a poor signal.

No fire from the distruator to the spark plug

First scan the PCM for trouble codes using a hand held engine scanner, Then repair codes by replacing failed sensor as needed. If no codes are present we would check the crankshaft sensor.

My Grand cherokee 4.7 1999 does not run the engine

Likely the sensor involved is the crank position sensor, next in line would be the cam sensor. You could also have a bad fuel pump or pump relay. Crank sensor is on the bellhousing at about 11 o'clock looking from the rear. It is even with the position of the flywheel. cam sensor is inside or is your distributor, depending upon your system. All are expensive so I recommend that you run some tests outlined in haynes, chiltons or other decent repair manuals before changing anything.

Right area. If it is a 2.4L, replace them. If it is a 2.5L, you need a distributor most likely.
