Question about 2007 Mazda B2300
I was told I threw a rod on my 2001 B2300 2.3L I-4 engine which will need to be replaced or repaired. Which is less costly to do? And can I replace it with a Ford ranger 2.3L I-4 engine. I'm not a mechanic so any information would help me make the right descision.
If you threw a rod,This would be a total engine rebuild.(Cost vary by location)
You can use the Ranger motor ,but you will need to swap most of the accessories from the Mazda motor so the wiring harnesses match up.
