On 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4WD 5.2L MFI 8cyl the Vehicle Speed Sensor - is located in Transmission / Transfer case extension housing (tail section), near where the drive shaft attaches to the transmission. The sensor has three wires (white / black, black / light blue and white / orange).

The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you are looking for a blown fuse and you don't come right with the above, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. It is not a difficult task, especially with a small pair of pliers.
Check under the hood, there are a series of large fuses and some relays. To check a relay, swap it with the one nearest to it.I'm sure I don't have to tell you how to check fuses. All these are contained in a large rectangular black plastic box marked power control center. It should be located near the firewall on the drivers side. Thank you, Dana
