Buy an aftermarket electric pump from Summit Racing and mount it on the frame rail right near the filter....do not waste time dropping gastanks and paying for ridiculous gm type in the tank pumps, the in the tank pump is a giant fock u to the public from the automakers.....remember the little mechanical cam driven two bolt cuteys? 15 bucks and 15 minutes and you were done.... thanks big three!

You either have to drop the tank, or unbolt and move back the bed to access the pump. I always found it easier to move the bed that way you can get right at the lines and electrical plugs, with out having to reach around tank to try to unhook everything, besides if it has any gas in it ,
(unless you can get it out)at 8 pounds a gal. it can get very heavy and okward.

Most vehicles do not have an oil drain plug for the tranny...you have to drop the pan to change the oil. Make sure you install a new gasket when you put it back on.

Why does my 1994 gmc sierra 1500 hesitate, spit and sputter when i give it alot of gas from a stand still???

It usually does this from lack of fuel and or air. When is the last time you replaced the fuel pump. I did a GMC once that was so bad it would only do about 15 miles an hour. Once the filter was changed it was like a new truck. Fuel filters clog up, it will still give you the pressure , but not the volume.

Gmc 1995 serria 6.5 F turbo. put new fuel filter, changed oil, added lucas cleaner to fuel filter when I changed it... I used to hear when I turned the key to on the pump priming, I do not hear that...

Check fuel pressure, should be no less than 4 psi. The fuel transfer pump is located on frame rail under drivers door, If fuel pump is bad replace it. If that doesn't solve your problem, you may have a bad injection pump. Please rate
