Question about 1993 BMW 3 Series
Right, i start the engine and drive for about 5 or so miles, stop and leave it for about an hour, then i start it again, but this time as soon as i start it, the engine chugs and splutters, then stalls. i have to pump the accelerator sevearal times to get the revs up, and i noticed that it stops when the temperature has reached normal. please help
You need to check distributor cap/wiring/spark plugs. when engine cold resistans at electric parts/connections is low. Then it warms up it increases and electric current goes down. Maybe you have bad connection somethere. Your car is equpped with digital motor electronics fuel (DME) injection. Here there is component location and diagnostic:
Also I would check fuel injectors itself (use injector cleaner), fuel filter (replace). If no help MAF sensor, trottle position sensor. There is good repair guide here:
