Question about 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport
This is a self preservation device fitted to all newish vehicles. this is usually caused by the cam sensor being faulty or damaged, making the vehicle restrict itself so as not to damage anything while under them conditions. the sensor is not usually easy to get to as it is contained inside the cam housing on the top of the engine.
