Question about 1996 Pontiac Grand Am
The icon 'ATS OFF' is lit up on my 1996 Pontiac Grand AM. What does that signify?
ATS stands for Advanced Traction System, a form of traction control. It can be enabled or disable via a switch on the side of your gear shifter. Normally, it would be enabled and rarely would there be a need to disable it, unless the squall of tires is your thing.
