Question about 1994 Nissan Pathfinder

Truck stuck in 4wd

We cannot get out 95 pathfinder out of 4wd, does anyone know of any tricks?

Well stick it in 2wd to start.

Back it up in a straight line.

Try rolling forwards and turning.

If it bucks, it's still in 4wd. Try again.

You can also vary whether it's on pavement or off road.

Check your tires to make sure they're the same size. Even different brands can be slightly different. Also uneven tires pressure will do it. Any differences in sizes of tires may confuse the 4wd system when trying to go back into 2wd.

THis could be seized, dried out external linkage or it could be an internal transfer case problem.

Where is the starter relay in a 95 nissan pathfinder 4wd wagon


It,s in the engine compartment,right hand side,on the inner fender,the relay is the 1 closet to the battery.

Steering wheel makes grinding noise when it is turned


it could be low on powersteering fluid, its just vibrating through the colum so you could check that first, or it could be the steering wheel shroud the plastic that covers the colum behind the steering wheel, take it off and see if it still does it,check fluid first though...hope this helps

What are the steps for replacing the lower ball joints on a 95 nissan pathfinder 4WD?


the easiest way i found is to remove the nut and break it free from the spindle by hitting spindle with hammer then unbolt it from the control arm,reverse installation.

What type of transmission fluid should I use 95 nissan pathfinder


all trans. take dex 2 or dex 3     with your nissan being a 95 i would say dex 3 my friend.    dextron 3 is like dot 3 brake fluid it mixes with all fluids of its class.
