Question about 2004 Saab 9-3
The saftey feature cuts in on the drivers window and it closes then opens automatically. stripped the door nothing loose or broken.
1. put key to ON, hold window button down until all the way down, then do same for up, repeat one more time until you hear BEEP. You just calibrated your window. You will need to do this everytime you disconnect your battery.
2. anytime window has power and has automatically gone down, hold the X (window lock button) down while holding up on your window button, again untill you hear BEEP. not sure what this does, but it fixed the problem for me.

As mentioned here, this worked for me on a 55 reg:
Disconnect the battery for 30 seconds. Then follow the calibrate instructions that can be found under "Windows" in the owner's manual. Took less than 5 minutes in all to fix.

I disconnected the battery and left for 30 seconds, when I reconnected the window restored it's normal settings..
