Question about 1995 Buick Roadmaster
I bought this 95 roadmaster sedan about 5 month ago with 75K miles on it.withjthe cold, I noticed that the heateris just bloing cold air doen't matter how long I drive, even when I set it to the deforst mode..still cold air. I took it to the mechanic,he replaced the themostat, a sensor "nearby " and flushed the radiator as it had only water, no anti freeze, the heate now is a little better "at least don't feel cold now", but for sure not blowing the as hot as it should.
The mechanic toldme that I need to drive the car for another 2 weeks or so on the highways alot, and do another flush, and put new anti freeze to make sure the system is cleaned and not clogged ,and if the problem still exist by then, then I need to change heat core.
I apprecuiiate your comments/suggestions.
I intend to keep the car, it is really nice, so I am trying to fix it litlle by little but for sure don't want to spend an arm or a leg to do so ;-)
Try backwards flushing heater core first before replacing it.Be sure temp blend door is working and if equiped, the coolant flow valve also.Hope this helps.
