I'm leaning toward TP sensor (Throttle Position) being faulty or connection dirty or corroded. remove connection, spray it up with electrical contact cleaner, at the sensor & connector & retry to see if it helps. There is a way you can try & test the TP sensor, if you have a multimeter with ohms and know how to use it. (Potentiometer ) TPsensor.

I have seen this many times it most of the time was caused by a leak in the intake or air plenum ,you can test for that using a water bottle with a mist spray around the intake should change RPM.'s as it draws the water in ,telling you the area that is leaking BE CARFULL.
