Can you hear the front ac/heater fan? They use the same AC compressor so that should be okay. The fan switches fail quite often on those. That controls how much air is pushed by the fan for AC, heat and defrost. The switch is attached to the fan knob on the dash.
AC HEATER FAN BLOWER MOTOR FAR UNDER DASH FROM GLOVE COMPARTMENT.TURN OFF RADIO FIRST THEN DISCONNECT NEGATIVE BATTERY CABLE WAIT 20 MINUTES THAT WILL DISABLE AIRBAG IN DASH AND DISABLE BCM YOU MIGHT HAVE TO MOVE BCM A SIDE ITS GOING TO BE IN THE WAY. BUT DONT DISCONNECT BCM

you have to remove the dash covering your vent system. You need to find the flap and controls that handle the flap. One of these flaps have been jarred. Put it back in place and make sure the cables all work correctly
my 06 h3 just had same problem, the motor control resistor pack was bad, located under glove box, mounted inside ac duct, large connector and two screws will remove it.
mine had burnt spot on connector, cleaned connector terminals and installed new pack, works fine now. I found your problem while looking for another elec problem i'm having.
The blower motor resister is located next to the fan under the passenger side dash. You will have to remove the glove box and plastic cover under the dash to expose the blower motor. the resister is next to the blower motor.
