Question about 2000 Volkswagen Beetle
So this evening out of know where I'm told my car alarm is going off..It must have randomly with no reason to sound started going off. I didn't know how to stop this so I left my 2000 new beetle unlocked. Any one have any ideas on how to fix this so I can lock my car with out the alarm sounding for no reason. Thank you.
The factory fit alarm is not voltage sensing .The best advice is to go to VW garage and get them to read the alarm causes,(they can check the last 4).this will give you a good idea where the fault lies.ie door lock mechanism, interior monitor etc..You cannot start looking for problem until you know alarm cause..
