hi from uk considering age of car ? and assume alarm is factory fitting ? random alerts of alarm as you have now ? could well be either there is a drain on the battery somewhere ie some thing left switched on or the battery is in early failure due to deteriation ? SO if your alarm is one that is voltage drop sensing as most alarms are ? then your alarm will trigger if one of above suggestions are present ? for instance to to explaine? with alarm set and you open a door ? the interior light comes on ? ok this registers voltage being used drop ?alarm then triggers hope you understand so far? so may i suggest that if this problem has only just occured recently ? that yo visit local motor supermarket? and ask them to test your battery condition they have a diagnostic tool that will check for any drain from battery itsef and /or other cause of drainage of power ? this is normally free service in uk and advice given ?

The factory fit alarm is not voltage sensing .The best advice is to go to VW garage and get them to read the alarm causes,(they can check the last 4).this will give you a good idea where the fault lies.ie door lock mechanism, interior monitor etc..You cannot start looking for problem until you know alarm cause..

My Car alarms goes ON for no reason. I don't even have to touch any buttons on the fob and it will go ON randomly.

ok more than likely thats on you had install i think they have the sensor switch turn up,you should have the person that install it check the small black box but if it a factory alarm check with the dealers,i had that problem before if bird droppings fall on the top the alarm will go off and i turn it down myself but am not an expert at that ok

How can I get the security light to turn off

To bypass the factory security would be difficult or car thieves would have a field day!

your best bet would be to get a replacement alarm key fob and disarm the vehicle that way!

Anti-theft alarm goes off randomly, radio and dashlights work but car will not start

Your problem is your BCM or known as body control module is looping into theft mode and in return not getting power to the starter so I'd check with ford on a BCM flash to factory default settings hope this helps you

2001 dodge neon car alarm goes off with no reason

There is a reason and that is that one of the door ajar sensors is defective most likely. To determine which sensor is the problem you must have the dealer scan the system ans be able to duplicate the problem.

My problem is i just recently bought this 1990 Lexus LS400 and everything works fine but randomly the alarm will start going off when i open the truck or doors then i put the key in the ignition and it...

My 1991 Lexus LS 400 does something similar. When the alarm goes off I use the key to unlock the passenger side front door and it turns the alarm off. Go figure, I know it sounds funny but it solves the problem for me.
