i had this same problem...if ur dash lghts dont work, check ur tail lights...they might not be on either...if you have an aftermarket radio, see if any wires are exposed...this can have contact with the radio and cause a short. you want to get that fixed right away...i got a ticket because my tail lights didnt turn on and i didnt notice.

Check your bulbs out. The bulbs could be bad, and this is a cheep fix to replace all of the tail light bulbs. They sometime short out and will blow the fuse.

2001 honda accord no dash lights and running lights. Keeps blowing 10 amp fuse

Thats going to be tough to troubleshoot.
A fuse blows when the electrical load on that circuit exceeds the limit of the fuse. It could be a bad connection or moisture in a light socket among other things.

1998 sunfire installed stereo and now dash lights and tail lights blowing fuse

Get a wiring harness connector for your 1998 GM car - THEN carefully follow each wire color on the harness. Do NOT connect anything to the GM orange wire except "Memory". Do NOT connect anthing to the harness for "Lights" or "Dash" or "DIM" - you will blow fuses. Only connect the Power, the memory and the speakers - period. Then you'll be safe.

1999 honda accord lx sedan removed stock dash no dash lights after aftermarket stereo wired in random red wire leading from stock stero to car would love to be able to have dash lights at night everything...

Most cars have the dash light wire in the wires going to the radio. Did you use a store bought adapter the plugs into the honda wire harness to connect the radio? Idf not you may have the dash light wire grounded with the radio and it's blown the dash light fuse. first unplug the radio. then go though the fuse and find the blown one under the dash fuse panel. Replace the fuse.( if their not uswed up the fuse panel has extra fuses and thier marked as spares). try the dash lights, if their workingyou need to find the wire at the radio and make sure it"s not being connected to ground. You might need to use a test light to look for power and when you find it turn the lights on and off the be shure that you have the right wire. If it's still not working you may need to investagate the dash light dimmer swich that turns the brightness up and down to the dash lights. The overload as the radio was connected possibly wrong can blow this switch instead of blowing the fuse. The swich pries out of the dash and you can test it withthe test light. One wire is ground ones the power from the dash panel fuse coming from the headlight switch and the other is the lights thems selves. This switch it'self lights in the dark, so it has a ground for it's bulb.

My daughters 1998 honda accord ex keeps blowing fuses she is having to replace the brake light fuse after we replaced the brake light switch when she changed the fuse last the horn blew and she was shocked...

The horn and rear brake lights are on the same fuse. Eventually the horns rust out like on my 1998 CRV. Once I replaced the horns, I could put in a new fuse without it blowing every time I sounded the horn. Problems still remain, namely: the cruise control does not engage and the remote start only starts the engine that runs for two seconds then dies. Still looking for an answer. It's a "Code Alarm" with Codestart dated 11/24/99.

No dash lights after i put in stereo

Sorry to hear that.... Now, take it apart and find out what you unplugged while you were in there. Also, check that you did not tap into something you should not have for power, and that you did not blow a fuse by accident!

Blows Fuses

If you have installed an aftermarket radio then you might have a short in the wiring . Take the radio out and make sure all wiring is insulated and installed correctly
