and just what is the question, recheck your fuel pump connector, make sure the fuel pump realy has power and works, if not check the ignition switch 12 volt feed to the relay, do u have a wiring diagram? if not buy one or take it to a dealer for a proper repair.

Did you replace the fuse and the wires appropiately ? Is the shutoff valve button pressed down ? If it's up, then the shutoff (inertia switch) will not let fuel go through the sytem. If the fuel pump is new, then it has to work. Especially if it is an OEM replacement.

2010 f150 wont start will turnover but no start cant hear the fuel pump start either

sounds like either the fuel pump relay or the fuel pump itself has gone out. check fuse panel first then check fuel pump relay. if those are good then check power leads to pump at tank and if you have power there then the pump has probably failed. hope this helps. Chris

After replacing in tank fuel pump & sendind unit, in line fuel filter, truck still not getting gas

Your ecu is most likely the problem if it is bad it wont send power to the fuel pump. You can check it by turning on the ignition then listen for noise coming from fuel tank. You should be able to hear the fuel pump come on.

I was driving down the road and it just died and now it will not start

Check fuel pump fuse and then fuel pump relay if both are ok the fuel pump is bad. Make sure you check the power wire to the fuel pump for proper volts before you replace the pump.

I got a 88 gmc jimmy 2.8L just replaced the starter and now it wont start. bthe fuel pump wont turn on and the ecmb fuse is still good. where else should i check for a problem before replacing the fuel...

if you have someone try to start the car while you hit the gas tank in the centre of the fuel tank and it starts then the fuel pump is no good.note this doesn`t always work due to how bad the pump is seized.if you look for the fuel pump feed wire under the hood, its a green wire with a black plastic connector and with some one again trying to start the car and with a test light connected to the connector it should light up.if it does then the pump is no good.another way is to have someone listen at the fuel tank and feed power to this same wire if the pump is working then they should hear the pump run, they may have to listen at the filler neck with the gas cap off to see if they can hear it run.

Replaced motor, 1st no oil pressure to guage, but motor seems to have pressure,2nd,replaced radiator, drove 6 miles round trip town and back, flushed radiator, then started and ran motor for couple min,...

As to the oil pressure check your oil pres. sending unit for power with a circuit tester while vehicle is running replace if necessary. First check the fuse for the fuel pump if it has powere on both sides when key is on check the fp relay (when you power a relay if you listen closely or put your finger on it you can normally hear or feel it click which is the equivalent of turning on a standard light switch) if none occur replace or if you can access your fuel pump check for power with key on if it has power but does nothing the pump needs to be replaced

Is the fuel pump located inside the tank on a 1989?

dont go replacing everything...thats gonna get expensive real quick...especially that fuel pump. yep...the pump is inside the tank. stand out side your truck, and turn the key over, but not enough to start it. you should haer a whirring sound lasting about 2-3 secs. come from the back of the truck. this is the fuel pump powering up. if you dont hear it...then the pump is bad. if you do hear it, have a friend turn the key while you look at the carb/injectors to see if fuel is spraying thruthem,if it isnt....then you have a clogged fuel filter. BUT...b4 you do any of this...check your fuel pump relay and fuse to make sure they are good. a 10 cent fuse beats a 200 dollar pump any day.
keep me posted!!

Turn key wont start- it cranks

check plug for fuel pump in harness near gas tank for corrosion and it may also have seoerated wire where it comes out of connecter the seperation may be from pulling on wires when pump replaced insulation may look alright because it streaches.

Ran out of gas wont start now

if its petrol engine bang bottom of fuel tank while some one else cranks vehicle over if it starts good just pump jammed if it dont buzz to life and you cant hear fuel pump buzzing ceck for power to it if thats there replace pump. running out of fuel kills electric fuel pumps internally in petrol tanks.

if its diesel you must bleed fuel system taking extreme care if you un do lines some very high pressure
