How to change spark plugs on 2005 hunydai 350xg

  • I have a 2002 XG and they should be the same but the front 3 are easy but for the back 3 you'll need to take off the intake manifold so you will need a gasket kit for the manifold. if you are not that mechanically inclined u may want a mechanic to handle that. if u have a miss make sure it's not the ignition coils on top of the front 3 spark plugs. i made the mistake of replacing all of my spark plugs @180,000 miles to find out the miss was from one of my ignition coils.

Change spark plugs on a 2003 santa fe

That is what you have to do on a chrysler v-6, also-remove the intake manifold. Be sure and use a new gasket for the manifold. Also check if there is a holding bracket for the manifold on one side or the other, or both as on a chrysler.

I need to know how to change the back three spark plugs on my 2008 ford edge , do i remove the get to them, is it safe

Yes, you will have to remove the intake manifold. If you are mechanically inclined, it's not that hard. Looks complicated because of all the wires and hoses. Just take your time, keep track of everything you do, take notes if you have to, so everything goes back together the same way it came apart. Since you are going to all this trouble be sure you buy a premium spark plug. I wouldn't use Champion or Ford products. NGK Iridium would be my choice if they are available.

How hard is it to change out teh rear bank of spark plugs on a Murano?

will need to remove intake manifold, remove the covers, intake tube, there are 2 bolts on a braket behind the throttle body and another bolt towards the middle holding the power steer hose, there is a hose from the back of the manifold to the booster and another near it to the rear rocker cover, then unbolt the manifold pust it to one side, then you can access the coil packs and the4 spark plugs, not too difficult

From what I have been reading online... The upper and middle manifold MUST be removed to get to the spark plugs to change them. 3 hour job minimum. should cost between $300 and $500.
