Car does not start- 1993 LEXUS ES300

After boosting the car with the WRONG ends, the main fuse (100A) was blown no light on the instrument panel. Smelled something burnt inside the car, the coil & igniter were hot. The fuse has been replaced but the car won't start (engine is cranking). there is no spark on the sparkplug. What could be the problem and how to do jump wire on the diagnostic box to get the faulty code?

2000 Lexus LS400 Instrument panel fuse

It's more likely a fuse is blown, the tail lights are on the same fuse as the dash illumination, check the tail lights if they are not working replace the fuse marked 'tail' in the fuse panel on the inside at the left side of the dash under the cover. At the same time check the 'gauge' fuse', there is a fuse location diagram on the cover.

My 1990 mercury grand marquis was boosted wrong

Might need to check the main circuits for a blown fuse or fuseable link.
There is a fuse wire between the alternator and battery.

All sorts of sensors and computers might've been fried when the owner hooked up the cables wrong. Be sure to check all the electrical out before jumping into that purchase.

your problem is the main fuse is blown under hood. it will be like a 100 or 120 amp fuse bolted in from sides of fuse/relay box.
