Question about 2002 Ford Taurus
There will be a small pulley that is attached to usually an aluminum arm. This arm has a rectangular slot in it. Place a 3/8 inch drive breaker bar or ratchet. Apply pressure to the wrench and the pulley and the arm will retract. This will allow enough slack to slide the belt over the tensioner pulley. Make sure the ribs of the belt are lined up on the pulleys before starting the vehicle.Good luck.
