I have a 95 toyota camry 2.2L my question is what causes the wiper to keep running even though I turn it off

Sounds like the switch is broken, so you can never turn wipers off, or when you shut ignition off, do wipers then shut off? Need to have more input to diagnose. Switches are usually culprit.

1993 corvette wipers will come on by the wiper switch but must be turned off by ignition switch

Since the ignition switch has to kill the power to the wipers. Replace the wiper switch. Carbon build up inside the switch is why it won't turn off. You could take the wiper switch apart and clean up the tabs with sandpaper. Beware of springs though..

Over heating Mercury Topaz, also the Wipers turn on without me touching the Wiper switch.

Have you checked to see if the head gasket is leaking, and if the park switch inside the wiper motor has failed ?

What do the this code mean on a 2003 grandcaravan 3,8 p1684

P1684 - Battery disconnected within last 50 starts. Really it's saying the PCM lost ignition source power in the last fifty starts. Generally not much to worry about. Many cars ride around with this code set and owners don't know it. It won't create symptoms. It won't even turn on the check engine light.

Y olsdmobile lss 98 is on security light flashing and won t star how to fixed

put key in ignition and turn all the way like your'e going to start it but don't start it. the security light is going to be flashing. leave it for ten minutes like that until the security light turns solid(not blinking). Turn the key to off and then start it. The tumblers in the ignition lock cylinder are no good any more and the ignition switch needs to be replaced and reprogrammed.
