On most cars when this happens it is the ignition switch which is different than the key switch if you lower your steering wheel remove cover plate and then 2 screws you will see the rod from the key switch to the ignition switch with out know year of car and make it is hard to determine how to check it the easiest way to check this is turn key on and cross the starter to see if motor starts if it does then you need a new switch again depending on year and make they start at about 16.95 to over 500.00

Check ground cable on battery.take a jumper cable connect it to negative and a bracket on engine.see if that works for power issues if so change ground cable.

I bought brand-new headlights for my 93 Nissan hardbody pickup but the high beams still don't work

check your headlight fuses and relays as well as the switch on the column. you might have to replace the switch for them to work. Also, see if they come on when using the flash feature of the headlights.

1995 Toyota corolla wont start. the key turns and the battery turns on but no sounds after that. brand new battery, tried jumping it, no go

If it is not making sound, it is the starter that is not working. May need a new starter, a new cable, a tightened cable, or a fuse.

Battery won't stay charged, it is brand new battery, alternator has been checked and it is good, blown BTN 60 watt fuse, on 1994 Mazda Protege.

The 60amp fuse probably is in the circuit between the alternator and the battery. Which would be why the battery is not getting charged.
Someone would need to check for a short in the wiring between the alternator and the battery.
