Question about 2005 Chevrolet Equinox
Okay, my 2005 chevy equinox was in a car accident on october 23rd, 2008, i brought it down to the abra auto body and glass repair shop, they told me when i picked up the car that my car was completely fixed, which included the whole front right side of my truck including the headlighe.i then had to go back not even 5 minutes later since my check engine light was on, a few sensers were out with some other major damage that was not repaired. It is now a little over 3 months later and my right headlight went out, so my boyfriend and I replaces both the headlights since the ones we bought were brighter than the ones I have now.. When we took off the front part of the car, my left headlight wired were fuzed with 3-4 other wired and when we pulled up the headlight like the manual told us to, all the wires fell off- I then looked at the left headlight thinking maybe that is how it is supposed to look like and it looked completely different. Now I called up abra and they told me that replacing all the wires will cost a few thousand dollars including labor to resolve the issue. Now when the wires fell out of the spliced location, they all touched which cause a few of my fuses to blow. Now because of that, I have my headlights working but not my park lights, fog lights, brake lights, and all my inside panelling will not light up which is difficult to drive at night. Now is there an easy fix for these fuses? or do I have to bring them to a repair shop to get fixed?
