Sound like the TBI is flaking out. Get TPS checked and any other electrical part on TBI checked.

I recently had the same problem. Try this. Start you motor, open the hood, locate the ignition coil and wiggle/slightly tug the wires at the connector that goes into the coil. Should be two or three wire connector. Wound up being the problem with mine after going through the same changes as you.

Do I need to let my 1993 Grand Marquis idle for 5 minutes before driving in the morning?

Based on the year of your car, would not be a bad idea to warm it up. After many years, engine components have worn and could show as poor engine performance. A good way to help is by adding engine oil additive when you perform your service. May be a good idea to add fuel additive once every other month. When fuel tank less then half tank, add additive and fill tank. This will help mix better.

We don't the maintenance book - what kind of oil does a 1998 Plymouth Neon take? Thank you

Very cold climate/weather, I'd run 5 w 30. Warmer/hot weather 10 w 40.
Here is Southern Ontario Canada, I run 5 w 30 or 10 w 30 winter and 10 w 40 summer.

1995 jimmy has started to hesitate to start and progessively getting worse now won't start. would make noise now battery dead

Sounds to me like you need the alternator repaired, low voltage makes the engine work poorly and it will quit when the voltage gets low enough that all the sensors are out of range,by then you don't have enough power in the batteries for a restart.

2001 sebring LXi - Steering sticks in center when cold. After driving short while or in warm weather no probblem. The longer is sits or the colder the weather the harder it is to move from center.

What do you mean by stick? It doesn't turn at all or it is just harder to turn?

Also how cold? Posting your question in May, I don't think you mean freezing winter cold unless you live in the southern hemisphere.

For freezing cold temperatures, it is not uncommen to get harder steering especially if you have old contaminated power steering fuild. At freezing cold temperature, power steering fluids gains vescosity and it is harder for the pump to circulate it, but the problem should go away as the engine warms up. I would suggest that you replace you fluid with a fresh approved one.

Hard starting after sitting awhile

My 98 Jimmy runs on synthetic oil and starts well after sitting in cold weather. If the weather is the problem, try checking that. If it is warm... sorry no ideas.

Location of toyota camry 1995 themostart

Hi Ade

Its normal for the temperature gauge to be at almost half when the engine is warm. If it rise above the half then you have cause for concern or if it is well below half when your car is really warm, then you may want to check it out as well.
