Question about 2004 Dodge Ram 2500
My 2003 Dodge 3500 diesel stalls when the fuel level reaches between 1/4 and 1/2 a tank and I'm driving. It first starts to buck and sputter making barely any power then it picks back up and runs OK for a couple of miles. Then it just stalls. It will re-start if you crank it enough with the pedal to the floor but it will only idle in park. As soon as you put it in gear it stalls again. I did have the fuel lines off at the filter but I'm 99% sure that I put them back correctly. I first thought that the fuel and return lines were swapped.
Check that the tank is not under vacuum caused by a blocked vent.

I had same problem. Replaced the lift pump.

The fuel gage is not reading fuel level right
