On the caravan tranny here is list of external parts . stand in front of the van facing the driver kinda little of the center to the driver side... look down . between the rad and tranny there are two tranny cooler rubber hoses . one input sensor/two wire plug on your left and on your right is output sensor/two wire plug. directly look down and you ll see an eight wire rectangular plug/bolt in center plugged into the shift solenoid . again on your right is another smaller rectangular plug/no part which is your selector switch and safety switch which is internal and that my friend is the story.

Hello / I have a car maintenance workshop Question / How change Automatic oil gerbox Renault Megane 2005 Thank you

You need to get under the car, identify the transmission oil pan and look for the drain plug:

Locate the filler plug - it will be on the side of the transmission, higher up. Use bottles with spouts to fill with the correct amount of transmission fluid .. or .. possible .. fill with fresh transmission fluid via the transmission dipstick.

Where is the transmission tag id located

for that generation of Ford/Lincoln vehicle (1998-2004)

it's a E40D / 4R100 automatic transmission

so you can look for those letters /numbers on the housing just above the trans pan

but 2 sites give you a better & easier ID-ing of the transmission by counting the bolts and looking at the shape of the transmission pan
How to Identify Ford Automatic Transmissions eHow

another site has a trans type on the door tag: if it's "E", then you got that the type of trans i mentioned above

1992 deville transmission problems

What type of problems? There are many things that can go wrong with the transmission. The best way to find the problem is to identify if the car is having trouble shifting, not getting enough power, having trouble starting. Once you narrow it down to one of these three, you will be able to identify the problem easier.

LOCATION ON ENGINE NUMBER OF KIA SPORTAGE 2005 MODEL

Find the engine identification tag. Attached at the factory, this tag is normally found on the engine block around the coil bolts. The top line of the tag identifies engine size and model year.

Search the block for the engine block casting number. The numbers are raised, not stamped into the block and consist of seven numeric digits. The digits can be located on either side of the block. The seven-digit number may be followed with a dash and further numbers. These are change codes and are not normally necessary to identify the engine.

EX.:

Locate the casting date is located on the block. It is in standard date coding, 2.25.93, for example and may be located on either side of the block, but is commonly located on the driver's side of the block, above the freeze plugs. The example 2.25.93 decodes as February 25, 1993. The casting date may be near the casting clock, which designates the hour the block was cast. Magnum engines were manufactured from 1993 to 2002, so verifying the date code helps identify the engine.
