Question about 1999 Mitsubishi Mirage

1 Answer

Headlight, brake lights and radio light is out.

I have a 2001 Mitsubishi Mirage ES. One of my headlights went out the same time that my radio frequency light went out. And now my main brake lights aren't working. Would this be fuse issues or something bigger?

An over charging condition can burn out bulbs. Are the turn signals flashing faster than normal? Either way I would have the generator voltage checked. You acan do this with a simple volt meter accross the battery with the engine running but have somone hold the throttl open just off idle for the test. Also you can check in with Advance Auto parts or others, they will check your charging sytem for you for free I think.

Good luck

How do you take out a headlight from a ch es 2005 lancer? i want to change the headlight to led head lights but my original headlights wont come out

Open the hood, remove any panels covering the light, and unhook the wiring harness. The light is generally held in place with four screws or bolts. Remove them, but mark the allignment. The light pretty much just screws out.

No turn signals brake lights or hazard on 97 Blazer

did you check the bulbs and the fuses with a test light? If they are ok,try pressing the brake pedal, and wiggeling the 4-way flasher button at the same time....if the brake lights come on, it's in the 4-way flasher switch.
